JUDGING
Where practicable, experienced judges will be employed.

ELIGIBILITY
Any work may be commercially processed and/or printed. A submission which receives a Merit or Credit may only be entered in an Open or Set competition twice during the same year. Submissions may be entered in three competitions in total and one Images of the Year. Any such submissions are then ineligible in this club. All prints must be mounted, named and titled on back.

IMAGES OF THE YEAR
All submissions must be the material entered in the Pittwater Camera Club or Inter-Club Competitions during the current year.

POINT SCORE AND DURATION
Competition ends on the last night programmed for competing prior to Images of the Year night. Points awarded in competition will be as follows:

• Merit: 5 points
• Credit: 3 points
• Per entry: 1 point

PRINTS
Up to 2 prints may be entered in each section of Monochrome and Colour.

• The maximum size of a mount is 40cm x 50cm (16" x 20").
• No minimum surface area - vertical or horizontal format accepted.
• For club competitions which specifically allow Panoramic format, prints with a maximum size including mount of 70cm x 30cm can be entered if preferred, instead of the standard maximum size of 40cm x 50cm.

DIGITAL PROJECTED IMAGES
Up to 3 projected images may be entered.

• Entries to be submitted in JPEG format.
• Maximum horizontal dimension 1024 pixels.
• Maximum vertical dimension 768 pixels.
• Colour Profiles: The images will be viewed on sRGB displays.
• Image mode: 8 bits per channel.
• File size: Should not exceed 500Kb. If exceeded reduce.
• In the file dialog box make the file name the same as the title with the author's name following; example: the_shearers_john_wheeler.jpg
• Do not use spaces in the file name. Use the underscore or hyphen character instead. Use only lower case characters.

The web gallery displays some of the images from the previous meetings. They may be Monochrome, Colour or Digital projected images.

GALLERY PUBLISHING RULES

• The image must have been shown in competition.
• The images will be on display till replaced.
• Individual members may wish to set-up their own Gallery on Flickr, or any other third party provider. This website will then arrange a link to that member's own gallery from this Gallery.

GALLERY DIGITAL IMAGE FORMAT
Email images to the webmaster.

• Entries to be submitted in JPEG format.
• Resolution at 72 pixels/inch. Most displays cannot show more than 72 pixels/inch.
• Maximum dimension, horizontal 1024 pixels, vertical 768 pixels.
• Colour Profiles: The images will be viewed on sRGB displays.
• Image mode: 8 bits per channel.
• File size: not to exceed 500Kb.
• In the file dialog box make the file name the same as the image title with the author's name following; example: The-Shearers-John-Wheeler.jpg
