ABOUT US

In December 1966 Did and Charles Usher opened their home to provide a venue to promote interest in photography. This continued for many years and so Pittwater Camera Club came into being.

Did still lives in the same house and reminisces about those days whilst gazing through her window at beautiful Mona Vale Beach where many of the photos were taken. The Club had many moves until eventually found a venue right on the shores of Pittwater.

Our members participate in Nationals and Internationals. Recently a member gained a Silver award and 10 acceptances in the Austrian Circuit. Another, with her images published in the Manly Daily. We also have been doing well in Interclub's and have shown our work at Pittwater Arts and Culture.

The Senior Road Safety Calendar of 2009 portrayed six of our images. Some members are accredited judges of club competitions.

We encourage and welcome all photographers. We provide an opportunity to show and display your creative photographic skills in a friendly environment with people that have a similar interest.
